Dr. Justin Malik has been serving the community in the east GTA for over 10 years.

Growing up as an athlete in Pickering Ontario, Dr. Malik’s journey led to him to the profession of Chiropractic through his own injury rehabilitation and passion for athletic performance.

Dr. Malik completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto in Physical Education and Health (2006), after which he graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (2011). Dr. Malik has since continued his education with courses including acupuncture, soft tissue release, assessment/treatment for extremities, and exercise prescription. Dr. Malik also stays on top of the latest research to provide goal-oriented and evidence-informed care.

A typical visit with Dr. Malik involves a detailed assessment, goal setting, hands-on therapy and exercise prescription.

Outside of clinic, Dr. Malik is a dedicated husband and father who enjoys an active lifestyle with his family.

Ashmeera is a Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

She completed her Bachelor of Science, Kinesiology at McMaster University. During that time, after lots of volunteer work in the rehab setting, she wanted to be a part of a person’s road to recovery and guide people back to their pain free active lifestyle.

Ashmeera went on to attain her Master’s of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. In Sydney, Ashmeera worked in long term care and in out-patient rehabilitation clinics focusing mainly on manual therapy and exercise prescription.

Born and raised in Scarborough, Ashmeera is excited to provide care to her community. Outside of work, Ashmeera plays tennis, badminton, volleyball and enjoys working out at the gym.

Dr. Nirruba Thayalan grew up in Scarborough with aspirations of working in healthcare to serve her community. She completed a Bachelors of Medical Sciences from the University of Western Ontario, and went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2020. Dr. Thayalan also practices hands-on soft tissue therapy in her treatment sessions, using additional training in Active Release Techniques (ART). She has also continued her education by taking the Neurofunctional Acupuncture certification from McMaster University. This training has made her proficient in the use of electro-acupuncture and dry needling. Another special interest of Dr. Thayalan’s is working with new mothers for postpartum rehabilitation, for which she has taken additional training. In her spare time, she plays basketball and enjoys weight training.

Ankita has completed her Bachelors of Physiotherapy from India and Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from United Kingdom. She has also successfully completed her Ontario Internationally Educated Physiotherapists Bridging Program from the University of Toronto. She is an experienced therapist who enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions. She believes that a combination of hands-on therapy, individualized exercises, and providing patients with knowledge to promote their own recovery, is the key for success. Dr. Christine Perez-Bocalan is a doctor of chiropractic, personal trainer, certified neurofunctional acupuncture provider and social media creator. She obtained her Honors Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion.

Dr. Christine’s technique focuses on analyzing the functionality of one’s body system as a whole; biomechanically, neurologically and metabolically. She focuses on finding movement dysfunction, leading to compensatory behaviour creating or not-creating physical symptoms.

Dr. Christine also founded the 1 of 1 Scholarship Fund to reward a BIPOC individual pursuing post-secondary or post-graduate education. It is Christine’s focus to combine her education in science, experience in sport and passion in fitness to aid in the advancement of others.

Andrea graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Centennial College. She also has a Bachelor of Health Science in Kinesiology from Ontario Tech University and is a Level 1 Fascial Stretch Therapist.

Andrea utilizes various assessment skills and treatment techniques to better understand her client’s conditions and help achieve their treatment goals. Her skills include Swedish techniques, fascial techniques, trigger point therapy, Fascial Stretch Therapy, and joint mobilizations. Andrea aims to help her clients feel and move better by empowering them when it comes to their health.
